This group meets with Deb via video conferencing in a joint session with our in-person Madison, Wisconsin group.. Your choice which meeting(s) you attend. If you can’t attend meetings, that’s fine too! Deb will present weekly topics plus meditations to download, worksheets and exercises, and the support of others who are on the path with you. An email group will be provided so you can discuss with other participants what you are learning, or what areas you are needing support. Sessions will not be recorded.. Attend the sessions that are of interest to you.
Are you fed up with the frustration of dieting or what is considered wellness in our society? Maybe you experience stress eating, retail therapy, or binge watching TV shows to relieve how you feel? Have you said to yourself, “There must be another way”? Past experiences are just that. The past. You can change your life now with simple shifts that rewire your recurring negative self-talk that impedes your confidence. Together in this group, we can change our thinking around food, body, wellness, and weight loss–and how we deal with stress. It doesn’t matter if you need to lose weight or if you don’t. If you are ready for an more holistic approach to your health and well-being, then this group is for you.
This group will get together to meet, share, support, and practice movement and meditation. We’ll be incorporating the following: de-stressing with relaxation techniques, exploring our thoughts and emotions, inviting in meditation & mindfulness, learning to mindfully eat, practicing gentle chair yoga, and enjoying other wellness activities.
This is not a group where we will tell others how they should walk their weight loss and wellness journey. We come together simply to support one another on a peaceful path, whatever our personal choices may be and any mistakes we may make along the way. We’re here to practice loving-kindness and compassion towards ourselves and others.
